തിരുത്തുകനടൻ കൊട്ടാരക്കര ശ്രീധരൻ നായർ-വിജയലക്ഷ്മി ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകളായി ശോഭ മോഹൻ ജനിച്ചത് കേരളത്തിലെ കൊല്ലത്തിലെ കൊട്ടാരക്കരയിലാണ്. മലയാള നടൻ സായികുമാറിന്റെ മൂത്ത സഹോദരിയാണ്. [1] അവൾ 1982 ൽ ബലൂൺ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ മുകേഷിന്റെ നായികയായിഅരങ്ങേറ്റം ചെയ്തു . [2] 1984 നവംബർ 5 ന് മലയാള തിയറ്റർ ആർട്ടിസ്റ്റ് കെ. മോഹൻകുമാറിനെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു.
