1997 മാർച്ച് 6 നാണ് ജാൻവി കപൂർ ജനിച്ചത് [1] അന്തരിച്ച ചലച്ചിത്ര നിർമ്മാതാവ് സുരീന്ദർ കപൂറിന്റെ മകനും ചലച്ചിത്ര നിർമ്മാതാവുമായ ബോണി കപൂർ ആണ് പിതാവ്. നടി ശ്രീദേവിയാണ് അമ്മ. ചലച്ചിത്ര അഭിനേതാക്കളായ അനിൽ കപൂറും സഞ്ജയ് കപൂറും പിതൃസോദരൻമാരാണ്. മുംബൈയിലെ എക്കോൾ മൊണ്ടിയേൽ വേൾഡ് സ്‌കൂളിലാണ് കപൂർ പഠിച്ചത്. [5] സിനിമയിൽ അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ ലീ സ്ട്രാസ്ബർഗ് തിയേറ്റർ ആൻഡ് ഫിലിം ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് അഭിനയ കോഴ്‌സ് പഠിച്ചിരുന്നു. [6]

2018ൽ കപൂർ

2018-ൽ ശശാങ്ക് ഖൈത്താൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത റൊമാൻസ് ധടക്കിലൂടെയാണ് കപൂർ തന്റെ അഭിനയ അരങ്ങേറ്റം നടത്തിയത്. ഇഷാൻ ഖട്ടറിനൊപ്പമാണ് അഭിനയിച്ചത്. 2016-ലെ മറാത്തി ചിത്രമായ സൈറാത്തിന്റെ ഹിന്ദി -ഭാഷാ റീമേക്ക് അതിൽ അവരെ ഒരു ഉയർന്ന ക്ലാസ് പെൺകുട്ടിയായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഒരു താഴ്ന്ന ക്ലാസ് ആൺകുട്ടിയുമായി (ഖാട്ടർ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്) ഒളിച്ചോടിയ ശേഷം അവരുടെ ജീവിതം ദുരന്തമായി മാറുന്നു. ചിത്രത്തിന് പ്രധാനമായും നെഗറ്റീവ് അവലോകനങ്ങൾ ലഭിച്ചു എന്നാൽ ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള   1.1 ബില്യൺ കളക്ഷനോടെ അത് വാണിജ്യപരമായി വിജയിച്ചു. രാജ്‌കുമാർ റാവുവിനൊപ്പം മിസ്റ്റർ ആൻഡ് മിസിസ് മഹി എന്ന സ്‌പോർട്‌സ് ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് കപൂർ അടുത്തതായി അഭിനയിക്കുന്നത്. കൂടാതെ പൊളിറ്റിക്കൽ ത്രില്ലറായ ഉലജ് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഫോറിൻ സർവീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനായ യുവ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനായാണ് കപൂർ അഭിനയിക്കുന്നത്.
