വംശനാശം സംഭവിച്ചുവെന്നുകരുതുന്ന ഒരു പക്ഷിയാണ് പിങ്ക് തലയുള്ള താറാവ്. ഇന്ത്യ, ബംഗ്ലാദേശ് എന്നിവടങ്ങളിൽ കണ്ടുവന്നിരുന്ന ഈ പക്ഷി 1950കളോടെ വംശനാശം സംഭവിച്ചവയുടെ പട്ടികയിലേക്ക് ചേർക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
