ലെബനിൽ വസിക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങൾ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഉത്ഭവിച്ച. ജനങ്ങൾ ആണ് ലെബനീസ് ജനങ്ങൾ (Arabic: الشعب اللبناني‎ / ALA-LC: ash-shaʻb al-Lubnānī Lebanese Arabic pronunciation: [eʃˈʃaʕeb ellɪbˈneːne]) ആധുനിക ലെബനൻ സംസ്ഥാനം രൂപവത്കരിക്കുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് ലെബാനോൺ, ആൻറി-ലെബനൻ മലനിരകളിൽ വസിച്ചിരുന്നവർ ആണിവർ. ഷിയാ (27%), സുന്നികൾ (27%) മരോനിറ്റ്സ് (21%), ഗ്രീക്ക് ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് (8%), മെൽക്കിറ്റ്സ് (5%), ഡ്രൂസ് (5.6%), പ്രൊട്ടസ്റ്റന്റ് (1%) എന്നീ മതഗ്രൂപ്പുകൾ ലെബനീസ് ജനതകളുടെയിടയിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.[30] വടക്കേ അമേരിക്ക, ദക്ഷിണ അമേരിക്ക, യൂറോപ്പ്, ആസ്ത്രേലിയ, ആഫ്രിക്ക എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും കൂടുതൽ ലെബനീസ് സമൂഹങ്ങൾ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.

  1. Lebanese Christians of all denominations constitute the majority of all Lebanese worldwide, but represent only a large minority within Lebanon.
  2. Lebanese Muslims of all denominations represent a majority within Lebanon, but add up to only a large minority of all Lebanese worldwide.
  3. Shias and Sunnis account for 54% of Lebanon's population together, even split in half (27%).
  4. In Lebanon, the Druze quasi-Muslim sect is officially categorized as a Muslim denomination by the Lebanese government.
