കരിയർ
തിരുത്തുകപന്ത്രണ്ടാം വയസ്സിൽ ബാലതാരമായിട്ടാണ് ശാന്തി ഈ രംഗത്തെത്തിയത്. 1970 ൽ വിയറ്റ്നാം വീട് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ ശാന്തി അഭിനയം ആരംഭിച്ചു. 1999 മുതൽ ടെലിവിഷൻ സീരിയലുകൾ ചെയ്യാൻ തുടങ്ങി. മെറ്റി ഒലി എന്ന സീരിയലിലെ പരമ്പരാഗത അമ്മയെന്ന കഥാപാത്രത്തിലൂടെയാണ് അവർ കൂടുതൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. [2] [3]
തമിഴരാസുവിന്റെ അമ്മയായി അഭിനയിച്ച തെൻ‌ഡ്രലിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് സംവിധായകൻ കെ. ബാലചന്ദർ നെഗറ്റീവ് റോളിൽ മികച്ച നടിക്കുള്ള പുരസ്കാരം നേടി.
നിരവധി തമിഴ്, മലയാള സിനിമകളിലും സീരിയലുകളിലും അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. [4]
സ്വകാര്യ ജീവിതം
തിരുത്തുകതമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ കോയമ്പത്തൂരിലാണ് മലയാളി മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്ക് ശാന്തി വില്യംസ് ജനിച്ചത്. 1979 ൽ മലയാളി ക്യാമറാമാൻ ജെ. വില്യംസിനെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. [5] അവർക്ക് 4 കുട്ടികളുണ്ട്. [4]
