ഫിലേസിയ
1789-ൽ ആദ്യമായി വിവരിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഫിലേസിയേസീ സസ്യകുടുംബത്തിലെ തെക്കേ അമേരിക്കൻ സ്ദേശിയായ പൂക്കുന്ന സസ്യങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു ജനുസ്സാണ് ഫിലേസിയ. [2][3]പൂവ് പ്രധാനമായും പിങ്ക് നിറത്തിലായിരിക്കും എന്നാൽ ചിലത് ഇരുണ്ടനിറത്തിലും, കൂടുതൽ പർപ്പിൾ നിറത്തിൻറെ വ്യതിയാനങ്ങളിലും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. തെക്കൻ ചിലിയിൽ നിന്നും തെക്കൻ അർജന്റീനയിൽ നിന്നുമുള്ള അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരേ ഒരു സ്പീഷീസ് ഫിലേസിയ മാഗെല്ലാനിക്കയാണ്.[4][5][6]
