ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശ്‌ ,ഗോവ , കർണാടക , ഗുജറാത്ത് , മേഘാലയ എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫെബ്രുവരി , മാർച്ച്, ഏപ്രിൽ, മേയ്, ജൂൺ, ജൂലൈ, ഓഗസ്റ്റ്, സെപ്റ്റംബർ, ഒക്ടോബർ, നവംബർ, ഡിസംബർ മാസങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവയെ കാണാറുള്ളത് .

Tamarindus indica ചെടിയാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ലാർവാ ഭക്ഷ്യ സസ്യം
