നിലത്തൻ
ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ Indian Blue Robin എന്ന നിലത്തൻ[3] [4][5][6] തെക്കേ ഏഷ്യ കാണുന്ന ഒരു പക്ഷിയാണ്. ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Luscinia brunnea എന്നാണ്. ഇവയെ Indian Blue Chat എന്നും മുമ്പ് വിളിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇതൊരു ദേശാടാന പക്ഷിയാണ്.

ഹിമാലയം, ഇന്ത്യ, മ്യാന്മാറ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ കാടുകളിലും തണുപ്പുകാലത്ത് പശ്ചിമഘട്ടം, ശ്രീലങ്ക എന്നിവിടുത്തെ കാടുകളിലും പ്രജനനം നടത്തും.

15 സെ.മീ ആണ് നീളം. പൂവന് നീല മുകൾഭാഗവും ചെമ്പിച്ച അടിവശവും ഉണ്ട്. അടിവയറും വാലിന്റെ അടിവശവും വെള്ളയാണ്. [7][8]
ആഗസ്റ്റിൽ തെക്കോട്ടുള്ള ദേശാടാനം തുടങ്ങും. ഈ കാലത്ത് ഇന്ത്യ മുഴുവൻ ഇവയെ കാണാം.[9][10]തണുപ്പുകാലത്ത് ഇവയെ തെക്കേ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കാടുകളിൽ കാണുന്നു.[11]
