നാടൻ ഇലക്കിളി

കാടുകളിലും അതിനോടടുത്ത സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരിനം ഇലക്കിളിയാണ് നാടൻ ഇലക്കിളി. ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലെ പേരു് Blue-winged Leafbird എന്നാണ്. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ മുഴുക്കെ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ജെർഡോൺസ് ഇലക്കിളിയും ബോർണിയയിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ബോർണിയൻ ഇലക്കിളിയും ഉപവിഭാഗങ്ങളാണ്.

രൂപവിവരണം തിരുത്തുക
പച്ച നിറത്തിലുള്ള ശരീരം. തലയിൽ മഞ്ഞനിറം. ആണിനു് കഴുത്തിൽ നീലയോ കറുപ്പോ ആയ ത്രികോണ അടയാളം. പെൺപക്ഷിയുടെ കവിളും തൊണ്ടയും നീലകലർന്ന പച്ച നിറമാണ്.
