തെക്കുകിഴക്കൻ ഏഷ്യയിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന കാട്ടുകന്നുകാലികളുടെ ഒരു സ്പീഷീസാണ് ടെമ്പടൗ (Bos javanicus) എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ബാൻടെങ് (/ˈbæntɛŋ/; Javanese: banthèng).തെക്കുകിഴക്കൻ ഏഷ്യയിലെ പല സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ബാൻടെങ് വളർത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. 1.5 മില്യൺ വരുന്ന വളർത്തു ബാന്റങുകളെ ബാലി കന്നുകാലികൾ എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നു. ഈ മൃഗങ്ങളെ വിവിധ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും മാംസത്തിനുവേണ്ടിയും വളർത്തുന്നു.[3]വടക്കൻ ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയിലും അവയുടെ ഭേദമല്ലാത്ത ഒരു ജനസംഖ്യ കാണപ്പെടുന്നു[4]
