ആദ്യത്തെ രാജ്യ റാണി ട്രെയിൻ 1.7.2011 ദാദർ - സാവന്തവാഡി റൂട്ടിലാണ് ഓടിയത്. മൈസുർ-ബാംഗ്ലൂർ റൂട്ടിലും ഈ ദിവസം ഓടിത്തുടങ്ങി. 1.10.2011 ന് ഷാലിമാർ - ബങ്കുര റൂട്ടിൽ സൂപ്പർഫാസ്റ്റായി മൂന്നാമത്തെ രാജ്യറാണി ഓടി. കേരളത്തിലേത് നാലാമത്തെ രാജ്യറാണി തീവണ്ടിയാണ്. ഇത് 2011 നവംബർ 16 മുതലാണ് കേന്ദ്ര റെയിൽവേ സഹമന്ത്രി എച്ച്. മുനിയപ്പ നിലമ്പൂരിൽ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിച്ച് ഓടിത്തുടങ്ങിയത്.
