- Alt text for the image, for visually impaired readers. See WP:ALT. It should be specified if image is specified.

- Caption for image, if necessary.
- birth_name
- The birth name of the theologian. Only specify if different from name.

- Date of birth. Can be approximate. Use {{birth date}} or related template where possible.
- birth_place
- Place of birth.
- death_date
- Date of death. Can be approximate. Use {{death date and age}} or related template where possible.
- death_place
- Place of death.
- era
- Should match era.
- region
- Should match region.
- tradition_movement
- Should match the school of theology or denomination.
- notable_ideas
- Should be explained in the main text of the article; Those that are not mentioned in the main text may be deleted.
- influences
- Should be explained in the main text of the article; Those that are not mentioned in the main text may be deleted.
