ചുറ്റീന്തൽക്കിളി

കുറ്റിക്കാടുകളിലും പുൽമേടുകളിലും കാണുന്ന ഒരിനം പക്ഷിയാണ് ചുറ്റീന്തൽക്കിളി[2] [3][4][5] (ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: Pied Bush Chat, ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Saxicola caprata). ഇവക്ക് 16 ഉപ വർഗ്ഗങ്ങളെ ഇതുവരെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട്. നിലത്തു കാണുന്ന പ്രാണികളാണ് ഇവയുടെ ഭക്ഷണം.

കറുത്ത ഈ പക്ഷിയുടെ തോളിലും ഗുദത്തിലും വെള്ളനിറമുണ്ട്. കണ്ണിന് തവിട്ടു നിറം, കൊക്കിനും കാലിനും കറുപ്പു നിറം.

തെക്കേ ഏഷ്യയിൽ ഗ്രേറ്റര് മിഡിൽ ഈസ്റ്റ് മുതല് ഇന്ത്യൻ ഉപഭൂഖണ്ഡം കൂടി കിഴക്കോട്ട് ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ വരെ ഇവ തദ്ദേശീയമായി പ്രജനനം നടത്തുന്നു.

ചില ഉപ വർഗ്ഗങ്ങൾ ഭാഗികമായി ദേശാടനം നടത്തുന്നവയാണ്. [6] ഇന്ത്യയിലുള്ള ഉപ വിഭാഗം ചിലപ്പോൾ യാത്രകൾ നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്..[7] ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പശ്ചിമ തീരത്ത് കാർ‌വാറിൽ ഒക്ടോബർ മുതൽ മെയ് വരെ കാണുന്ന ഇവയെ മഴക്കാലത്ത് കാണാറില്ല. [8] ഗുജറാത്തിലെ ബറോഡ ജില്ലയിൽ സാധാരണ ഉണ്ടാകുമെങ്കിലും ഏപ്രിൽ മുതൽ സെപ്റ്റംബർ വരെയുള്ള കാലങ്ങൾ കാണാറില്ലെന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നു..[9][10]

പ്രജനനം തിരുത്തുക

കൽചുമരുകളിലെ പൊത്തുകളിലൊ മറ്റൊ പുല്ലുകൊണ്ടൊ രോമങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടൊ ആണ് കൂടു കെട്ടുന്നത്. 2-5 മുട്ടകളിടും. 0.67x 0.55 ഇഞ്ചാണ് മുട്ടയുടെ വലിപ്പം. 12-13 ദിവസംകൊണ്ട് മുട്ടവിരിയും. [7]
