ചിന്നച്ചിലപ്പൻ
ചിന്നച്ചിലപ്പന്റെ[2] [3][4][5] ഇംഗ്ലീഷിലെ പേര് Tawny-bellied Babbler എന്നാണ്. ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Dumetia hyperythra എന്നാണ്. ഈ പക്ഷിക്ക് ചെഞ്ചിലപ്പൻ എന്നും ചുവന്ന വയറൻ ചിലപ്പൻ എന്നും പേരുണ്ട്.[അവലംബം ആവശ്യമാണ്]

വിവരണംതിരുത്തുക
ഇവയ്ക്ക് നീളമുള്ള വാലടക്കം 13 സെ.മീ ആണ് നീളം. കടുത്ത തവിട്ടു നിറം മുകളിലും ഓറഞ്ചും മങ്ങിയ നിറവും അടിയിലും. ചെമ്പിച്ച ചാര നിറം തലയുടെ മുകൾ ഭാഗത്തും.

ഇവ ഇന്ത്യ, ശ്രീലങ്ക, തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാരെ നേപ്പാൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ തദ്ദേശമായി പ്രജനനം നടത്തുന്നവയാണ്. കുറ്റിക്കാടുകളിലും ഉയർന്ന പുല്ലുള്ള സ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും കാണുന്നു.

എളുപ്പത്തിൽ കാണാൻ പറ്റാത്ത വിധത്തിൽ കൂട് കുറ്റിച്ചെടികൾക്ക് ഇടയിൽ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നു. 3-4 മുട്ടകൾ വരെയിടും. വട്ടത്തിലുള്ള ചെറിയ ചിറകുകളാണ്. ഇവ പ്രാണികളേയും പിന്നെ തേനും കഴിക്കുന്നു.
