കാക്കരാജനു ആംഗലത്തിൽ white-bellied drongo എന്നു പേരുണ്ട്. ശാസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Dicrurus caerulescens എന്നാണ്.

വയറും ഗുദവും വെള്ള നിറമുള്ള കറുത്ത പക്ഷിയാണ്. ശ്രീലങ്കയിൽ കാണുന്നവയ്ക്ക് ഗുദത്തിൽ മാത്രമെ വെളുപ്പുള്ളു. കഴുത്തിൽ ചാര നിറം. .[2]

ശ്രീലങ്കയിൽ കാണുന്നവയ്ക്ക് ഇടയിൽ തന്നെ ചെറിയ വ്യത്യാസങ്ങളുണ്ട്.[3] [4][5] മരങ്ങളുടെ മുകളിൽ നിവർന്നാണ് ഇരിക്കുന്നത്.

പ്രാണികളാണ് ഭക്ഷണമെങ്കിലും ചെറിയ പക്ഷികളേയും ഭക്ഷിക്കും.[7] ഇര തേടാലിനു അനുയോജ്യമായ കാലുകളാണ് ഉള്ളത്. [8] തെരുവു വിളക്കുകളുടെ അടുത്തുവരുന്ന പ്രാണികളെ ഇവ ഭക്ഷിക്കാറുണ്ട്.[9] ഇവ തേനും കഴിക്കാറുണ്ട്.
