ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ ഹഥ്റാസിൽ പത്തൊൻപതുകാരിയായ ദലിത് യുവതിയെ സവർണ്ണരായ നാല് പേർ ചേർന്ന് കൂട്ടബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്ത് മരണാസന്നയാക്കുകയും, രണ്ടാഴ്ചത്തെ ചികിത്സയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം മരണപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്ത സംഭവമാണ് ഹഥ്റാസ് കൂട്ടബലാത്സംഗവും കൊലപാതകവും (2020)[2][3][4].

യുവതിയുടെ മരണത്തോടെ പോലീസ് തിടുക്കത്തിൽ മൃതദേഹം ദഹിപ്പിച്ചത് ബന്ധുക്കളുടെ എതിർപ്പിനെ അവഗണിച്ചായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ആരോപണമുയർന്നിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ പോലീസ് ഇത് നിഷേധിച്ചു[5]. സംഭവത്തിന്ശേഷം മജിസ്ട്രേട്ടിന് മുന്നിൽ നൽകിയ മൊഴിയിൽ നാല് പ്രതികളുടെ പേര് യുവതി വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു[6]. എന്നാൽ ആദ്യ പത്തുദിവസവും പ്രതികളെ പിടികൂടാനോ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കാനോ അധികൃതർ തയ്യാറായില്ലെന്ന് ബന്ധുക്കൾ ആരോപിച്ചു.

ഈ സംഭവം രാജ്യമെമ്പാടും പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങൾക്കിടയാക്കി. ആഗോളതലത്തിൽ തന്നെ വ്യാപകമായ മാധ്യമശ്രദ്ധ ലഭിച്ചതോടെ അധികൃതർക്കെതിരെ വ്യാപക പ്രതിഷേധം ഉയർന്നു[7].

സംഭവം തിരുത്തുക

2020 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 14-ന് 19 കാരിയായ ദളിത് യുവതി കാലിത്തീറ്റ ശേഖരിക്കാൻ ഫാമിൽ പോയപ്പോഴാണ് സംഭവം നടക്കുന്നത്. സന്ദീപ് താക്കൂർ, രാമു താക്കൂർ, ലവ്കുശ് താക്കൂർ, രവി താക്കൂർ എന്നിവർ ചേർന്ന് ബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു[8][9]. എതിർത്തുനിന്ന യുവതിയെ കഴുത്തിൽ ദുപ്പട്ട കെട്ടി വലിച്ചെറിയുകയും കഴുത്ത് ഞെരിച്ച് കൊലചെയ്യാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുകയുമായിരുന്നു എന്നാണ് കേസ്. നട്ടെല്ലിനേറ്റ ഗുരുതരമായ പരിക്ക്, കഴുത്തുഞെരിച്ച സമയത്ത് നാവ് കടിച്ചു അറ്റുപോയത്[10][11] എന്നിവയാണ് മരണകാരണമായ പരിക്കുകളെന്ന് കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു. യുവതിയുടെ കരച്ചിൽ കേട്ടെത്തിയ മാതാവ് ഉടൻ തന്നെ പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിയെങ്കിലും അവരുടെ വാദങ്ങൾ തള്ളിക്കളയുകയും പരിഹസിച്ച് വിടുകയുമാണ് അവർ ചെയ്തത്[12][13]. സെപ്തംബർ 20 ന് മാത്രമാണ് പോലീസ് പരാതി രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തത്[14]. 22-ആം തിയ്യതി ഇരയുടെ മൊഴി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ പോലീസ്, യുവതി ബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടതായും എതിർക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചപ്പോൾ കഴുത്ത് ഞെരിച്ച് കൊലപ്പെടുത്താൻ ശ്രമിച്ചതായും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി[15][16]. ആദ്യം അലീഗഡിലെ ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട[17] യുവതിയെ നില മോശമായതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ദൽഹിയിലെ സഫ്ദർജംഗ് ആശുപത്രിയിലേക്ക് മാറ്റുകയായിരുന്നു. സെപ്റ്റംബർ 29-ന് യുവതിയുടെ അന്ത്യം സംഭവിച്ചു[18][19][20].

സന്ദീപും ലുവ്കുഷും മാസങ്ങളായി തന്നെയും ഇരയേയും ഉപദ്രവിക്കുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് ഇരയുടെ അമ്മ പറഞ്ഞു[21].

പോസ്റ്റ്‌മോർട്ടം റിപ്പോർട്ട് പ്രകാരം സെർവിക്കൽ സ്പൈനിൽ ഏറ്റ ആഘാതമാണ് മരണകാരണം എന്ന് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. ബലാത്സംഗവും ശ്വാസം മുട്ടിക്കലും റിപ്പോർട്ടിൽ പരാമർശിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്[22][23].
