സുനിൽ ഖിൽനാനി
ഇന്ത്യൻ ചരിത്രകാരൻ
പ്രമുഖ പണ്ഡിതനും ചരിത്രകാരനും പ്രശസ്തമായ ദ ഐഡിയ ഓവ് ഇൻഡ്യ എന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ രചയിതാവുമാണ് സുനിൽ ഖിൽനാനി. കിങ്സ് കോളേജ് ലണ്ടൻ ഇൻഡ്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് തലവനാണ്. .[1][2][3] 2010-ലെ ബെർലിൻ പ്രൈസ് ഫെലൊ ആയിരുന്നു. 2005-ൽ പ്രവാസി ഭരതീയ സമ്മാൻ നൽകി അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ആദരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[4]

ഖിൽനാനി ന്യൂ ഡെൽഹിയിൽ ജനിക്കുകയും ആഫ്രിക്ക, യൂറോപ്പ്, ഏഷ്യ എന്നീ ഭൂഖണ്ഡങ്ങളിൽ വളർന്നു. കേംബ്രിഡ്ജിലെ കിംഗ്സ് കോളേജ്, കേംബ്രിഡ്ജ്, ട്രിനിറ്റി ഹാൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ആദ്യമായി PhD നേടി.
