സറവക് Sarawak (/səˈrɑːwɒk//səˈrɑːwɒk/; Malay: [saˈrawaʔ]) മലേഷ്യയിലെ ഒരു സംസ്ഥാനമാണ്. ബോർണിയോയുടെ വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറ് കിടക്കുന്ന സരവാക്കിന്റെ വടക്കുകിഴക്ക് ഭാഗത്ത് മലേഷ്യൻ സംസ്ഥാനമായ സബാ കിടക്കുന്നു. തെക്ക് ഇന്തോനേഷ്യൻ പ്രവിശ്യയായ ബോർണിയോയുടെ ഭാഗമായ കലിമന്താൻ കിടക്കുന്നു. വടക്ക് സ്വതന്ത്രരാജ്യമായ ബ്രൂണൈ ആണു സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. സാരവാക്ക് സർക്കാർ ആസ്ഥാനമായ കുചിങ്ങ് വാണിജ്യകേന്ദ്രം കൂടിയാണ്. മിറി, മലേഷ്യ, സിബു, ബിന്തുലു എന്നിവയാണു മറ്റു പ്രധാന പട്ടണങ്ങളും നഗരങ്ങളും. 2015 ലെ സെൻസസ് പ്രകാരം, സാരവാക്കിൽ 2,636,000 ആണ് ജനസംഖ്യ. സാരവാക്കിൽ മദ്ധ്യരേഖാ കാലാവസ്ഥയാണനുഭവപ്പെടുന്നത്. ആയതിനാൽ ട്രോപ്പിക്കൽ മഴക്കാടുകളും അനേകം സസ്യജന്തു ജനുസ്സുകളും ഇവിടെയുണ്ട്. ഇവിടെയുള്ള ഗുനുങ്ങ്മുലു ദേശീയോദ്യാനം അനേകം ഗുഹകൾ ചേർന്നതാണ്. രാജാങ് നദി മലേഷ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും നീളമുള്ള നദിയാണ്. ഈ നദിയുടെ ഒരു കൈവഴിയായ ബാല്യി നദിയിലുള്ള ബാക്കുൻ ഡാം തെക്കുകിഴക്കേ ഏഷ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഡാമുകളിലൊന്നാണ്. സാരവാക്കിലെ ഏറ്റവും ഉയരം കൂടിയ കൊടുമുടി മുരുദ് പർവ്വതമാണ്.

40,000 വർഷങ്ങൾക്കുമുമ്പേതന്നെ സാരവാക്കിലെ നിയാ ഗുഹകളിൽ മനുഷ്യൻ പാർത്തിരുന്നതിനു തെളിവുകളുണ്ട്. സന്തുബോങ് എന്ന പുരാവസ്തുഖനനപ്രദേശത്തുനിന്നും 8, 13 നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകൾക്കിടയിലുള്ള ഒരു നിര ചൈനീസ് സിറാമിക് വസ്തുക്കൾ ലഭിക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. സാരവാക്കിന്റെ തീരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ബ്രൂണിയൻ സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ സ്വാധീനത്തിലായിരുന്നു. 1839ൽ, ബ്രിട്ടിഷ് പര്യവേഷകനായ ജെയിംസ് ബ്രൂക്ക് James Brooke, സാരവാക്കിൽ എത്തി. അദ്ദേഹവും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പിൻതലമുറകളും 1841 മുതൽ 1946 വരെ ഭരിച്ചു. രണ്ടാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധസമയത്ത് ഈ പ്രദേശം മൂന്നു വർഷത്തേയ്ക്ക് ജപ്പാൻകാർ പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു ഭരണം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. യുദ്ധശേഷം, അവസാന വെളുത്ത രാജാക്കന്മാർ (ഇന്തോനേഷ്യയിലെ ഇംഗ്ലിഷ് രാജമാർ)ആയ ചാൾസ് വെയ്നെർ ബ്രൂക്ക് സാരവാക്ക് ബ്രിട്ടനിൽ ലയിപ്പിച്ചു. 1946ൽ ഇത് ബ്രിട്ടന്റെ കീഴിലുള്ള ഒരു കോളനിയായിത്തീർന്നു.  1963 ജൂലൈ 22നു സാരവാക്കിനു ബ്രിട്ടൻ സ്വയംഭരണം വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്തു. 1963 സെപറ്റംബർ 16ൽ സ്ഥാപിതമായ മലേഷ്യയുടെ സ്ഥാപനത്തിനു കാരണമായ അംഗരാജ്യമായി ഈ പ്രദേശം മാറി. എന്നിരുന്നാലും, ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ സാരവാക്കിന്റെ മലേഷ്യയുമായുള്ള കൂടിച്ചേരലിനെ എതിർത്തുവന്നു. 1990വരെ നിലനിന്ന കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് തീവ്രവാദത്തിനും ഇതു കാരണമായി.

സാരവാക്കിന്റെ രാജ്യഭരണത്തലവൻ യാങ് ദി-പെർത്വ നെഗേരി എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഗവർണ്ണറും സർക്കാർ തലവൻ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയുമാണ്. സാരവാക്ക് ഭരണവിഭാഗങ്ങളും ഡിസ്ട്രിക്റ്റുകളും ആയിത്തിരിച്ച് വെസ്റ്റ്മിൻസ്റ്റർ സംവിധാന പ്രകാരം ഭരണം നടത്തുന്നു. മലേഷ്യയിലെ ആദ്യ ലെജിസ്ലേച്ചർ സംവിധാനമാണിത്.
