ലാന്റ് ഫാൾ ദ്വീപ്
ലാന്റ് ഫാൾ ദ്വീപ് (Landfall Island) ഇന്ത്യൻ കേന്ദ്രഭരണപ്രദേശമായ ആൻഡമാൻ നിക്കോബാർ ദ്വീപുസമൂഹങ്ങളിൽ ഏറ്റവും വടക്കേയറ്റത്തു കിടക്കുന്ന ദ്വീപ്.[7][8] ഇത് ഈ പ്രദേശത്തിലെ വടക്കും മദ്ധ്യഭാഗത്തുമുള്ള ആൻഡമാൻ ഭരണഭാഗമായ ജില്ലയിൽപ്പെട്ടതാണ്.[9] ഈ ദ്വീപ് 220 km (137 mi) പോർട്ട്ബ്ലെയറിൽനിന്ന് അകലെയാണ്. ബർമ്മയിൽനിന്നും 300 km (186 mi) km ആണു ദൂരം. ഇത് കരി ആദിവാസികളുടെ സങ്കേതമാണ്.[10]

2004-ൽ നടന്ന സുനാമി ഈ ദ്വീപിനേയും സാരമായി ബാധിച്ചു. ഇത് ഈ ദ്വീപിൽ അടിസ്ഥാനപരമായ മാറ്റമുണ്ടാക്കി.

ഈ ദ്വീപ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്, ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വടക്കൻ ആൻഡമാൻ ദ്വീപിന്റെയും മ്യാന്മാറിന്റെ കോക്കോസ് ദ്വീപിനും ഇടയിലാണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ദ്വീപ് ചെറുതും ഏതാണ്ട് 3.1 km2 (1.2 sq mi) വിസ്തീർണ്ണമുള്ളതാണ്.
