ബെഡോമിന്റെ മരപ്പല്ലി
പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിൽ മാത്രം കണ്ടുവരുന്ന ഒരിനം പല്ലിയാണ് ബെഡോമിന്റെ മരപ്പല്ലി (Beddome's day gecko). ശാസ്ത്രനാമം: Cnemaspis beddomei). 1830-1911 കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് സൈനിക ഉദ്ദ്യോഗസ്ഥനായ റിച്ചാർഡ് ഹെൻറി ബെഡോമി എന്ന സസ്യശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞന്റെ പേരിലാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.

ഇവ പകൽസമയങ്ങളിൽ പാറക്കല്ലുകളിക്കിടയിലാണ് കണ്ടുവരുന്നത്. പ്രധാനമായും പ്രാണികളെ ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നു. The exact threats are unknown but may be human disturbance. However, it exists in protected areas Kalakkad Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve and Meghamalai.
