ദുർജയ വംസയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള അവർ കാക്കാത്തിയ രാജവംശത്തിലെ ഒരുങ്ങല്ലു പ്രദേശത്തായിരുന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്നത്. ഇന്ന് തെലങ്കാനയിലുള്ള വാറങ്കൽ  ,എന്നാണ് ഈ പ്രദേശം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.
