ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ യുവ കാലാവസ്ഥാ വ്യതിയാന പ്രവർത്തകയും ഫ്രൈഡേസ് ഫോർ ഫ്യൂച്ചർ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സ്ഥാപകയുമാണ്[1] ദിഷ അന്നപ്പ രവി (ജനനം 1998/99, ബാംഗ്ലൂർ)[2] .2021 ഫെബ്രുവരി 13-ന് ഗ്രെറ്റ തൻബെർഗുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ഓൺലൈൻ ടൂൾകിറ്റുമായി ബന്ധമുണ്ടെന്ന് ആരോപിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന അവരുടെ അറസ്റ്റ് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ശ്രദ്ധ നേടി.[3][4] ഇന്ത്യൻ ഗവൺമെന്റ്, ഒരു സ്റ്റാൻഡേർഡ് സോഷ്യൽ ജസ്റ്റിസ് കമ്മ്യൂണിക്കേഷൻസ് ആൻഡ് ഓർഗനൈസിംഗ് ഡോക്യുമെന്റായ ടൂൾകിറ്റ്,[5] കർഷക പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങളെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള വഴികളുടെ ഒരു ലിസ്റ്റ് നൽകുന്നത് [6]അശാന്തിയും ഒരുതരം രാജ്യദ്രോഹവും വളർത്തി.[7][8] ഈ അറസ്റ്റിന് ഇന്ത്യക്കകത്തും അന്തർദേശീയമായും വ്യാപകമായ വിമർശനം ഉയർന്നിരുന്നു.[2]

ആവശ്യമുള്ള കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റികളിലേക്ക് ശബ്ദം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതിൽ ദിഷ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുന്നു[9][14][15] കൂടാതെ അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര യുവ കാലാവസ്ഥാ പ്രവർത്തകർക്കായി ഒന്നിലധികം എഡിറ്റോറിയലുകളുടെയും ലേഖനങ്ങളുടെയും രചയിതാവാണ്.[16][17] പാരിസ്ഥിതിക വംശീയതയ്‌ക്കെതിരെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന നാല് വർണ്ണ പ്രവർത്തകരുടെ 2020 സെപ്റ്റംബറിലെ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് വോഗ് മാഗസിൻ പ്രൊഫൈലിലും അവരെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.[4][18][19] 2021 ഫെബ്രുവരി 15-ന്, ദി ന്യൂ ഇന്ത്യൻ എക്‌സ്പ്രസ് അവരെ "ബെംഗളൂരുവിന്റെ ഗ്രേറ്റ" എന്നാണ് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചത്.[20]

ദിഷയുടെ അറസ്റ്റിന് മുമ്പ് FFF നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലായിരുന്നു.[23] പരിസ്ഥിതി, വനം, കാലാവസ്ഥാ വ്യതിയാന മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്റെ 2020 മാർച്ചിലെ പരിസ്ഥിതി ആഘാത വിലയിരുത്തലിന്റെ (EIA) കരട് വിരുദ്ധമായി FFF ഇന്ത്യ ഇമെയിൽ അഭിഭാഷക കാമ്പെയ്‌നിൽ ദിഷ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.[10] പ്രതികരണമായി, എഫ്എഫ്എഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെയും മറ്റ് രണ്ട് ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളുടെയും വെബ്‌സൈറ്റുകൾ 2020 ജൂലൈയിൽ ബ്ലോക്ക് ചെയ്‌തു. പക്ഷേ പിന്നീട് ബ്ലോക്ക് പിൻവലിച്ചു.[10][i] ദിഷ ഓട്ടോ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ആഫ്രിക്കയോട് പറഞ്ഞു, "ഞങ്ങൾ ഭിന്നാഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ അടിച്ചമർത്തപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു രാജ്യത്താണ് ജീവിക്കുന്നത് ... ഡ്രാഫ്റ്റ് EIA വിജ്ഞാപനത്തെ എതിർത്തതിന് ഫ്രൈഡേ ഫോർ ഫ്യൂച്ചർ ഇന്ത്യ എന്ന പേരിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ തീവ്രവാദികൾ എന്ന് മുദ്രകുത്തി. ജനങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ ലാഭം കൊയ്യുന്ന ഒരു സർക്കാർ മാത്രമേ ശുദ്ധവായു, ശുദ്ധജലം, ജീവിക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ഗ്രഹം എന്നിവ ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത് തീവ്രവാദ പ്രവർത്തനമായി പരിഗണിക്കൂ."[19]

അവർ ബാംഗ്ലൂരിലെ മൗണ്ട് കാർമൽ കോളേജിൽ നിന്ന് ബിരുദം നേടി.[7]അവർ ഒരു സസ്യാഹാരിയാണ്, അറസ്റ്റിന് മുമ്പ് ഒരു വെഗൻ ഫുഡ് കമ്പനിയിൽ പാചക പരിചയ മാനേജരായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു.[19][4][10]

2020-2021 ഇന്ത്യൻ കർഷക സമരങ്ങളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ ടൂൾകിറ്റ് പ്രചരിപ്പിച്ചെന്നാരോപിച്ച് 2021 ഫെബ്രുവരി 13 ന്, ദിഷയെ ബംഗളൂരുവിലെ സോളദേവനഹള്ളിയിലെ വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യാൻ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി. [7][29] അവളെ 5 ദിവസത്തെ പോലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിൽ വിട്ടു.[30][31][20] ദ ക്വിന്റ് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തു, "ഡൽഹി പോലീസിന്റെ സൈബർ ക്രൈം യൂണിറ്റ് ഫയൽ ചെയ്ത എഫ്‌ഐആറിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് ഫെബ്രുവരി 4-ന് ടൂൾകിറ്റിന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാക്കൾക്കെതിരെ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തത്."[32]ടൂൾകിറ്റിൽ ഖാലിസ്ഥാൻ അനുകൂല വെബ്‌സൈറ്റുകളുടെ ലിങ്കുകളും ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് പോലീസ് പറഞ്ഞു.അസോസിയേറ്റഡ് പ്രസ് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തു, "മത ദേശീയതയാൽ പ്രചോദിതമായി, പ്രതിഷേധിക്കുന്ന കർഷകരെ, അവരിൽ പലരും സിഖുകാരെ അപകീർത്തിപ്പെടുത്താൻ സർക്കാർ ആദ്യം ശ്രമിച്ചിരുന്നു."[33]

ദിഷയ്‌ക്കെതിരെ രാജ്യദ്രോഹത്തിനും ക്രിമിനൽ ഗൂഢാലോചനയ്ക്കും പോലീസ് കേസെടുത്തു. 2021 ജനുവരി 26-ന് ചരിത്രപ്രസിദ്ധമായ ചെങ്കോട്ടയിൽ അതിക്രമിച്ചുകയറിയ കർഷകരെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള അന്വേഷണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടായിരുന്നു അവളുടെ അറസ്റ്റ്. ഡൽഹി പോലീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥൻ പ്രേം നാഥ് മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരോട് പറഞ്ഞു. "നിയമാനുസൃതമായി നടപ്പിലാക്കിയ സർക്കാരിനെതിരെ തെറ്റായ വിവരങ്ങളും അതൃപ്തിയും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുക എന്നതായിരുന്നു ടൂൾകിറ്റിന്റെ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യം."[34] ടേക്കറ്റ് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിലും പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിലും ദിശ ഒരു "പ്രധാന ഗൂഢാലോചനക്കാരി" ആണെന്ന് പോലീസ് ആരോപിച്ചു. ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭരണകൂടത്തിനെതിരായ അതൃപ്തി പ്രചരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി അവർ ഖാലിസത്താനി അനുകൂല "പൊയിറ്റിക് ജസ്റ്റിസ് ഫൗണ്ടേഷനുമായി" സഹകരിച്ചു.[8] കൂടാതെ, ദിഷ തൻബർഗുമായി രേഖ പങ്കിട്ടു. തുടർന്ന് അത് ട്വീറ്റ് ചെയ്തു. ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാരിന്റെ മാതൃകയുടെ ഭാഗമായാണ് അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര മാധ്യമങ്ങൾ അറസ്റ്റിനെ ഉയർത്തിക്കാട്ടിയത്. "ക്രൂരമായ" കൊളോണിയൽ കാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ രാജ്യദ്രോഹ നിയമങ്ങൾ എന്ന് ബിബിസി ന്യൂസ് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചത് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് മാധ്യമപ്രവർത്തകരെയും പ്രതിഷേധക്കാരെയും ഭീഷണിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഒരു വലിയ മാതൃകയുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് ദിഷയുടെ അറസ്റ്റ് എന്ന് ബിബിസി ന്യൂസ് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തു.[37] ന്യൂയോർക്ക് ടൈംസ് അറസ്റ്റിനെ വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചത്, "ആക്ടിവിസ്റ്റുകൾക്കെതിരെയുള്ള വിപുലമായ അടിച്ചമർത്തലുകളുടെ പരമ്പരയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പുതിയത്" എന്നും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഇന്റർനെറ്റ് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിലുണ്ടായ വലിയ ഇടിവിന്റെ ഭാഗമായുമാണ്.[38] ദി ടെലിഗ്രാഫ് എഴുതി, "മിസ്. തൻബെർഗും പോപ്‌സ്റ്റാർ റിഹാനയും കർഷകരുടെ പ്രതിഷേധത്തെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കാൻ അവരുടെ സെലിബ്രിറ്റി പദവി ഉപയോഗിച്ചതിന് ശേഷമാണ് അറസ്റ്റുണ്ടായത്, ഇത് ഇന്ത്യൻ സർക്കാരിൽ നിന്ന് രോഷാകുലമായ പ്രതികരണത്തിന് കാരണമായി."[39] ദിഷയുടെ അറസ്റ്റിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ഇന്ത്യയിൽ വിയോജിപ്പിനെതിരെയുള്ള വലിയ അടിച്ചമർത്തലിനെക്കുറിച്ച് ടൈം മാഗസിൻ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നു.
