ഡെലാനോ
ഡെലാനോ (/dəˈleɪnoʊ/ də-LAY-noh), അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ കാലിഫോർണിയ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ കേൺ കൗണ്ടിയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു നഗരമാണ്. ബേക്കേർസ്ഫീൽഡിൻറെ[9] വടക്ക്-വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറായി ഏകദേശം 31 മൈൽ (31 കിലോമീറ്റർ) ദൂരെയായി സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽനിന്ന് 315 അടി (96 മീറ്റർ) ഉയരത്തിലാണ് ഈ നഗരം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. 2000 ത്തിൽ 38,824 ആയിരുന്ന ഈ നഗരത്തിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ 2016 ൽ 52,088 ആയി വർദ്ധിച്ചിരുന്നു. ബേക്കർസ്ഫീൽഡ് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ കേൺ കൗണ്ടിയിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ വലിയ നഗരമാണിത്. ഇവിടുത്തെ പ്രധാന വ്യവസായമെന്നു പറയാവുന്നതു കൃഷിയാണ്. ഈ പ്രദേശം ടേബിൾ ഗ്രേപ്സ് എന്ന പ്രത്യേകതരം മുന്തിരി വിളയുന്ന കേന്ദ്രമെന്നതിൻറെ പേരിൽ പ്രത്യേകം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.[10] കാലിഫോർണിയയിലെ രണ്ടു പ്രധാന സംസ്ഥാന ജയിലുകളായ നോർത്ത് കേൺ സ്റ്റേറ്റ് പ്രിസൺ, കേൺ വാലി സ്റ്റേറ്റ് പ്രിസൺ എന്നിവ ഡെലാനോ നഗരത്തിലാണു സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.
