ജംഷഡ്പൂർ
ജാർഖണ്ഡിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലുതും ജനസംഖ്യയുള്ളതുമായ നഗരവും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ ആസൂത്രിത വ്യവസായ നഗരവുമാണ് ജംശേദ്പൂർ (/ˈdʒæmʃɛdpʊər/,[7] Hindustani: [dʒəmˈʃeːdpʊr] (
listen)) അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ടാറ്റാനഗർ.[8] 2019-ൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വൃത്തിയുള്ള നഗരമായി ഇത് തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[9]

ടാറ്റ ഗ്രൂപ്പിന്റെ സ്ഥാപകനായ ജംഷഡ്ജി ടാറ്റയാണ് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പേരിലാണ് ഇവിടം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്.[10] 1919 ലാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥാപിതമായത്.
2020-ലെ സ്വച്ച് സർവേക്ഷൻ പ്രകാരം 2020-ൽ ജംഷഡ്പൂർ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വൃത്തിയുള്ള നഗരമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.[11] 2010-ൽ ജംഷഡ്പൂർ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വൃത്തിയുള്ള നഗരങ്ങളിൽ ഏഴാം സ്ഥാനത്തായിരുന്നു.[12] ജീവിത നിലവാരത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ഈ നഗരം ഇന്ത്യയിൽ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്താണ്. ജാർഖണ്ഡിലെ ഈസ്റ്റ് സിംഗ്ഭും ജില്ലയുടെ ആസ്ഥാനമായ ഇത് 36-ാമത്തെ - ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നഗര സംയോജനവും ജനസംഖ്യയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ 72-ാമത്തെ വലിയ നഗരവുമാണ്. നയാ റായ്പൂരിനൊപ്പം ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ സ്മാർട്ട് സിറ്റികളിൽ ഒന്നാണിത്.
