ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഹോക്കിയെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി 2007-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു ഹിന്ദി ചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് ചക് ദേ ഇന്ത്യ (ഹിന്ദി: चक दे इंडिया ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: "Go For It, India!") [1]. ഷാരൂഖ് ഖാനാണ് ഇതിലെ കേന്ദ്ര കഥാപാത്രമായ കബീർ ഖാനെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. യാഷ് രാജ് ഫിലിംസ് നിർമ്മിച്ച് ഷിമിത് അമീൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഈ ചിത്രം വളരെയധികം അവാർഡുകൾ വാരിക്കൂട്ടുകയുണ്ടായി. ₹ 63.9 കോടിയിലേറെ വരുമാനം നേടിക്കൊടുത്ത ഈ ചിത്രം 2007 ലെ ഏറ്റവും വരുമാനം നേടിയ ഇന്ത്യൻ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു.[2][3] ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ജനപ്രിയ ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള 55-ആമത് ദേശീയപുരസ്കാരം 2007 ഈ ചിത്രം നേടുകയുണ്ടായി[4]

കഥാസാരം
തിരുത്തുകപാകിസ്താനുമായി ഹോക്കി മത്സരത്തിൽ പരാജയപ്പെട്ട ഇന്ത്യൻ ടീമിന്റെ നായകനാണ് കബീർ ഖാൻ. ആ ദയനീയ പരാജയത്തിന്റെ പേരിൽ കബീർ ഖാന് തന്റെ അമ്മയോടൊപ്പം വീട് വിടേണ്ടി വരുന്നു. ഏഴു വർഷത്തിനു് ശേഷം ഇന്ത്യൻ വനിതാ ഹോക്കി ടീമിന്റെ കോച്ചായി വരുന്നത് മുതലുള്ള സംഭവങ്ങളാണ് പിന്നെ സിനിമയെ മുന്നോട്ട് നയിക്കുന്നത്.
