ആന്ധ്ര പ്രദേശ്‌ ,കർണ്ണാടക , മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര , എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നും ഇവയെ കണ്ടെത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ജനുവരി , ഫിബ്രവരി ,ആഗസ്റ്റ്‌ , ഒക്ടോബർ-ഡിസംബർ മാസങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇവയെ കാണാറുള്ളത് .[4]
Olax Imbricata ചെടിയാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ലാർവാ ഭക്ഷ്യ സസ്യം [4]
