ആറ്റച്ചെമ്പൻ
ഇന്ത്യ, ശ്രീലങ്ക, തെക്കേ ചൈന എന്നിവ്വിടങ്ങളിലെ തദ്ദേശവാസിയായ ഒരു പക്ഷിയാണ് ആറ്റചെമ്പൻ (The tricoloured munia) (Lonchura malacca). The species was also introduced to ജമൈക്ക, പ്യൂർട്ടോ റിക്കോ, വെനെസ്യൂവേല എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ ഇവയെ എത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

പുല്ല് വർഗ്ഗത്തീൽപ്പെട്ട ചെടികളുടെ വിത്തൂകളാണു പ്രധാന ഭക്ഷണം .പറ്റമായി നടക്കുന്ന സ്വഭാവം .
