സാലിക സൗലി
നൈജീരിയൻ അഭിനേത്രിയായ സാലിക സൗലി (ജനനം: 1947), ആദ്യത്തെ ഉപ-സഹാറൻ ചലച്ചിത്ര നടിയും, [1] ആഫ്രിക്കൻ സിനിമയിലെ മുൻ‌നിര നടിമാരിൽ ഒരാളും ആണ്.[2]

19 വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോൾ സലിക 1966-ൽ മൗസ്തഫ അലസാനെയുടെ ലെ റിട്ടോർ ഡി'അൺ അവെൻച്വിയർ എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രത്തെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. അവർ പിന്നീട് അഭിനയിച്ച ചിത്രങ്ങൾ ഔമാറോ ഗണ്ട സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത കബാസ്കാബോ (1968), ലെ വാസോ പോളിഗെയിം (1971), സാസ്റ്റെയ്ൻ (1972), എൽ എക്സൈൽ (1980) എന്നിവയായിരുന്നു. മൗസ്തഫ അലസാനെയുടെ വിമൻ കാർ വില്ലാസ് മണി (1972), യെയോ കൊസോളോവയുടെ പെറ്റാൻക്വി (1983), ജിംഗാരെ മാഗയുടെ ഔബ് നോയർ (1983) എന്നിവയിലും അവർ അഭിനയിച്ചു.[1]
1980 മുതൽ നൈജീരിയൻ ചലച്ചിത്ര വ്യവസായം ക്ഷയിച്ചു. റഹ്മതൗ കീറ്റയുടെ 2004-ലെ ഡോക്യുമെന്ററി അൽ'ലെസിയിൽ ഒരു ആഫ്രിക്കൻ നടി സലികയുടെ വേഷം അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.[3]കീറ്റ സലികയുടെ സിനിമ നിർമ്മിക്കുമ്പോഴേക്കും, സലികയും അവരുടെ നാല് മക്കളും ഭക്ഷണമോ വെള്ളമോ ഇല്ലാതെ നിയാമിയിലെ രണ്ട് മുറികളുള്ള ഒരു വീട്ടിലായിരുന്നു താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത്. 2000-ൽ കുടിയേറാൻ നിർബന്ധിതയായ സാലിക ഇപ്പോൾ യൂറോപ്പിൽ ഒരു വേലക്കാരിയായി ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നുവെന്ന വിവരത്തോടെയാണ് ചിത്രം അവസാനിക്കുന്നത്.[4][5]
