വെർണർ വോൺ സിമെൻസ്

ജർമൻകാരനായ ഒരു കണ്ടുപിടിത്തക്കാരനും വ്യവസായിയും ആയിരുന്നു Ernst Werner Siemens (von Siemens from 1888; German: [ˈziːmɛns]; 13 ഡിസംബർ 1816 – 6 ഡിസംബർ 1892). വൈദ്യുതചാലകതയുടെ എസ്.ഐ. ഏകകമായ Siemens ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പേരിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് വന്നത്. സീമൻസ് എന്ന വൈദ്യുത-വാർത്താവിനിമയ കമ്പനി ഇദ്ദേഹം ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതാണ്.
