ചെമ്പൻ എറിയനെ[4] [5][6][7] ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ Rufous-bellied Hawk-Eagle എന്നു പറയുന്നു. ശസ്ത്രീയ നാമം Lophotriorchis kienerii എന്നാണ്. ഇതൊരു ഇരപിടിയൻ പക്ഷിയാണ്.

ചെമ്പിച്ച നിറത്തിലുള്ള അടിവശവും ചിറകുമൂടികളും. കഴുത്തിലും നെഞ്ചിലും വെള്ള നിറം. പിടയ്ക്ക് അല്പം വലിപ്പം കൂടും. തൂവലുകൾ മൂടിയ കാലാണ് ഉള്ളത്. വാലിന് ഇരുണ്ട വരകളുണ്ട്. [8][9]
വിതരണം തിരുത്തുക
കുന്നുകളും കാടുകളും ഉള്ളിടത്ത് കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിൽ കാണുന്നു. ഹിമാലയത്തിൽ നേപ്പാൾ മുതൽ ആസാം വരേയും. പൂർവഘട്ടത്തിലും കാണുന്നുണ്ട്. [11] കൂടാതെ ശ്രീലങ്ക, മ്യാന്മാർ. തായ്‌ലന്റ്, ഇന്തോനേഷ്യ,സുമാത്ര, ബോർണിയോ, ഫിലിപ്പീൻസ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും കാണുന്നു.
