ഗാല /ɡəˈlɑː/ (Eolophus roseicapilla) റോസ് ബ്രെസ്റ്റഡ് കോക്കറ്റൂ, ഗാല കോക്കറ്റൂ, റൊണേറ്റ് കോക്കറ്റൂ, പിങ്ക്, ഗ്രേ കോക്കറ്റൂ എന്നീപേരുകളിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ വ്യാപകമായ കോക്കറ്റൂകളിലൊന്നാണിത്. ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയുടെ മിക്കവാറും എല്ലാ ഭാഗങ്ങളിലും തുറന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഇവയെ കാണാവുന്നതാണ്. ഇത് പ്രധാനമായും ടാസ്മാനിയ ദ്വീപിൽ ഉള്ളതാണ്. [2].അതിന്റെ വ്യത്യസ്ത പിങ്ക്, ചാര തൂവലുകളും അതിന്റെ ധീരശബ്ദവും പെരുമാറ്റവും മുൾപ്പടർപ്പിൽ പരിചയമുള്ളതും നഗരപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ വളരുന്നതുമായ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടാണ് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നത്.
