എഡിൻബർഗ്, ടെക്സസ്
എഡിൻബർഗ് (/ˈɛdɪnbɜːrɡ/ ED-in-burg) അമേരിക്കൻ ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ ടെക്സസ് സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഹിഡാൽഗോ കൗണ്ടിയിലെ ഒരു നഗരവും കൗണ്ടി സീറ്റുമാണ്.[6] 2010 ലെ സെൻസസ്[7] പ്രകാരം 74,569 ജനസംഖ്യയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഈ നഗരത്തിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ 2019 ലെ കണക്കുകൾ പ്രകാരം 101,170[8] ആയി മാറിയതോടെ ഹിഡാൽഗോ കൗണ്ടിയിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ വലിയ നഗരമായും വലിയ റിയോ ഗ്രാൻഡെ വാലി മേഖലയിലെ മൂന്നാമത്തെ വലിയ നഗരമായും ഇത് മാറി. മക്അല്ലൻ-എഡിൻബർഗ്-മിഷൻ, റെയ്നോസ-മക്അല്ലൻ മെട്രോപൊളിറ്റൻ പ്രദേശങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമാണ് എഡിൻബർഗ് നഗരം.

ദക്ഷിണ-മധ്യ ഹിഡാൽഗോ കൗണ്ടിയിൽ 26°18′15″N 98°9′50″W (26.304225, -98.163751) അക്ഷാംശ രേഖാംശങ്ങളിലാണ് എഡിൻബർഗ് നഗരം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.[9] തെക്ക് ഭാഗത്ത് ഫാർ നഗരവും, തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഭാഗത്ത് കൗണ്ടിയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ നഗരമായ മക്അല്ലൻ നഗരവുമാണ് ഇതിന്റെ അതിർത്തികൾ. യു.എസ് റൂട്ട് 281 (ഇന്റർസ്റ്റേറ്റ് 69C) എഡിൻബർഗ് നഗരത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്തുകൂടി കടന്നുപോകുന്നു. യുഎസ് 281 വടക്ക് ഭാഗത്തുകൂടി 103 മൈൽ (166 കി.മീ) ദൂരത്തിൽ ആലീസിലേക്കും 229 മൈൽ (369 കി.മീ) ദൂരത്തിൽ സാൻ അന്റോണിയോ നഗരത്തിലേയ്ക്കും നയിക്കുന്നു. മക്അല്ലൻ നഗര കേന്ദ്രം തെക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറുമായി 10 മൈൽ (16 കിലോമീറ്റർ) അകലെയാണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.
