കോറസിമോർഫി
കോളിഫോംസ് (mousebirds), നിരയും കാവിറ്റേവ്സ് ക്ലേഡും (വുഡ്പെക്കർ, കിംഗ്ഫിഷർ, ട്രോഗൺസ് തുടങ്ങിയ പക്ഷികളുടെ ഒരു വലിയ സംഘം) ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു ക്ലേഡാണ് കോറസിമോർഫി[1][2][3][4]. 1970 കളുടെ അവസാനത്തിലും 1980 കളിലുമായി നടത്തിയ ഡി‌എൻ‌എ-ഡി‌എൻ‌എ ഹൈബ്രിഡൈസേഷൻ പഠനങ്ങളെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി 1990 കളിൽ സിബ്ലിയും അഹ്ക്വിസ്റ്റും ഈ പേര് ഉപയോഗിച്ചു. [5]എന്നിരുന്നാലും അവയുടെ കോരാസിമോർഫയിൽ ട്രോഗോണിഫോർമുകളും കൊറാസിഫോർമിസുകളും മാത്രമേ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്നുള്ളൂ.
