സോമാലിലാന്റ്
ആഫ്രിക്കൻ കൊമ്പിനടുത്ത് സോമാലിയൻ റിപ്പബ്ലിക്കിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു മേഖലയാണ് സോമാലിലാന്റ് (Somali: Soomaaliland, അറബി: أرض الصومال Arḍ aṣ-Ṣūmāl). [2][3] ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് സോമാലിലാന്റിന്റെ പിൻ‌ഗാമിയായി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് 1991 ൽ സ്വതന്ത്രരായി രൂപപ്പെട്ട രാജ്യമാണെങ്കിലും മറ്റേതെങ്കിലും രാജ്യമോ അന്താരാഷ്ട്രസംഘടനകളോ ഇതിനെ അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. [4][5]

Somaliland border dispute with Puntland. As of July 1, 2007, part of the disputed territory declared the state of Maakhir, which rejoined Puntland in 2009.
