സാഫിർ
സാഫിർ The Safir (പേർഷ്യൻ: سفیر, meaning "ambassador") ഇറാന്റെ കൃത്രിമോപഗ്രഹ വിക്ഷേപണ വാഹനമാണ്. സാഫിർ എന്ന പേർഷ്യൻ വാക്കിനർത്ഥം അംബാസിഡർ എന്നാണ്. 2009 ഫെബ്രുവരി 2നാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ആദ്യ വിജയകരമായ വിക്ഷേപണം നടന്നത്.[2] ഓമിദ് എന്ന ഉപഗ്രഹത്തെ 245.2 km (152.4 mi)അകലെയുള്ള ഒരു പ്രദക്ഷിണപഥത്തിൽ ഈ റോക്കറ്റിന്റെ സഹായത്താൽ എത്തിച്ചു. കവോഷ്ഗാർ തിരുത്തുക
ഇറാന്റെ സർക്കാർ ടെലിവിഷന്റെ റിപ്പോർട്ട് അനുസരിച്ച് 2008 ഫെബ്രുവരി 4നു കവോഷ്ഗാർ-1 Kavoshgar-1 (പേർഷ്യൻ: کاوشگر ۱, "Explorer-1") എന്ന ഒരു പരീക്ഷണ അധോതലപ്രദക്ഷിണപഥത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് വിക്ഷേപണം നടത്തി. 2007 ഫെബ്രുവരി 25നു ഇതുപോലെ മറ്റൊരു വിക്ഷെപണവും നടത്തി. ആദ്യ ഫ്ലൈട്ടിൽ അന്തരിക്ഷത്തിന്റെ ഉയർന്ന തലങ്ങളിൽ ഗവേഷണങ്ങൽനടത്താനുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങൽ ആണു വഹിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഇറാനിയൻ ന്യൂസ് ഏജൻസിയുടെ റിപ്പോർട്ട് പ്രകാരം, ആ റോക്കറ്റ് ഒരു ദ്രാവക ഇന്ധന റോക്കറ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു. 200–250 km ദൂരത്തിലുള്ള ഭ്രമണപഥത്തിലെത്തി. രണ്ടു ഘട്ടമുള്ള ദ്രവ ഇന്ധന റോക്കറ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു. [5] ആദ്യ ഘട്ടം 100  സെക്കന്റ് കഴിഞ്ഞ് വേർപെട്ടു. അതിനുശേഷം ഒരു പാരച്യൂട്ടിന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ ഭൂമിയിലേയ്ക്കു തിരികെ ഇറങ്ങി. രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഘട്ടം 200 kilometres വരെ യാത്രതുടർന്നു. പക്ഷെ, ഭ്രമണവേഗത അതു കൈവരിച്ചില്ല.
പിന്നീടുള്ള ഇറാനിയൻ വാർത്താ ഏജൻസിയുടെ റിപ്പോർട്ട് അനുസരിച്ച്, കവോഷ്ഗാർ-1 മൂന്നു ഘട്ടങ്ങളുള്ള റോക്കറ്റാണെന്നു പറയുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ ആദ്യ ഘട്ടം 90 seconds ഇൽ വേർപെട്ടു. റോക്കറ്റ് 200 and 250 kilometres ഉള്ള ഭ്രമണപഥത്തിലെത്തി. [6][7]
