• Question: I installed a new Malayalam Unicode font and now my malayalam webpage shows garbage.
  Possible Solution: This can happen immediately after the installation of the font, probably because the old font information is in the cache. Please refresh the page and the new font should take effect. If you are in the offline mode of your browser, you will no longer be able to access the pages in malayalam until you switch to online mode.
• Question: I installed Varamozhi, but when I type, I cannot see malayalam transliteration on the right window frame. Instead I see garbled characters. However, if I press File->Export to UTF8 (unicode) or press Ctrl+u, I can see the correct fonts in window.
  Possible Solution: Varamozhi by default sets font for the right window frame to Matweb.ttf. This is the font used by Mathrubhumi in www.mathrubhumi.com. Please download and install the font Matweb.ttf from Mathrubhumi webpage to see malayalam characters properly in the right window pane.
