വന്ദന കടാരിയ
ഇന്ത്യൻ വനിതാ ഹോക്കി ടീമിലെ ഫോർവേഡ് കളിക്കാരിയാണ് വന്ദന കടാരിയ. 2013ൽ ജർമ്മനിയിൽ നടന്ന ജൂനിയർ വനിതാ വിഭാഗം വേൽഡ് കപ്പിൽ ടൂർണ്ണമെന്റിലെ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ഗോൾ നേടിയ മൂന്നാമത്തെ വ്യക്തിയായിരുന്നു. ആ ടൂർണമെന്റിൽ അഞ്ച് ഗോൾ നേടി. 130 കളികളിൽ നിന്നായി രാജ്യത്തിന് വേണ്ടി35 ഗോൾ നേടി.[1]

ഇപ്പോൾ ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡിന്റെ ഭാഗമായ ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ ഹരിദ്വാർ ജില്ലയിലെ റോഷ്‌നാബാദ് ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ 1992 ഏപ്രിൽ 15ന് ജനിച്ചു. കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ സ്ഥാപനമായ ഭാരത് ഹെവി ഇലക്ട്രിക്കൽസ് ലിമിറ്റ്ഡിൽ ടെക്‌നീഷ്യനായ നഹർ സിങ്ങിന്റെ മകളാണ്[2].
അരങ്ങേറ്റം തിരുത്തുക
2006ൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ ജൂനിയർ വനിതാ ഹോക്കി ടീമിലൂടെ അരങ്ങേറ്റം നടത്തി. 2010-ൽ സീനിയർ വനിതാ ടീമിൽ അംഗമായി. ജർമ്മനിയിൽ 2013ൽ നടന്ന ജൂനിയർ വേൾഡ് കപ്പിൽ ഇന്ത്യക്ക് വേണ്ടി കളിച്ചു, വെങ്കല മെഡൽ നേടി. ഈ ടൂർണമെന്റിൽ ഇന്ത്യക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ ഗോൾ നേടിയത് ഇവരായിരുന്നു. നാലു കളികളിലായി അഞ്ചു ഗോൾ നേടി.[3]സ്‌കോട്‌ലൻഡിലെ ഗ്ലാസ്‌ഗോവിൽ നടന്ന 2014ലെ കോമ്മൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ കാനഡക്കെതിരായ മത്സരത്തിലൂടെ 100 മത്സരം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി.[4] 2014-15ലെ വനിതാ എഫ് ഐ എച്ച് ഹോക്കി വേൾഡ് ലീഗിന്റെ രണ്ടാം റൗണ്ടിൽ 11 ഗോളുകൾ നേടി, ടൂർണമെന്റിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ വനിതാ ടീം ചാംപ്യൻമാരായി.[5]
2016ലെ റിയോ ഒളിമ്പിക്‌സിൻ കളിക്കാൻ യോഗ്യത നേടിയ ഇന്ത്യൻ വനിതാ ഹോക്കി ടീമിൽ അംഗമായിരുന്നു.[6]
