ഒരു സൗദി വനിതാ അവകാശ പ്രവർത്തകയും ഒരു സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ വ്യക്തിയും മുൻ രാഷ്ട്രീയ തടവുകാരിയുമാണ് ലൗജെയ്ൻ അൽ-ഹത്‌ലോൾ (അറബിക്: الهذلول الهذلول ലുജ്ജയ്ൻ അൽ-ഹദ്‌ലാൽ; ജനനം 31 ജൂലൈ 1989). അവർ ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കൊളംബിയ സർവകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ബിരുദധാരിയാണ്. സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് പ്രസ്ഥാനം നയിക്കുന്നതിലും സൗദി പുരുഷ രക്ഷാകർതൃ വ്യവസ്ഥയെ എതിർക്കുന്നതിലും അൽ-ഹത്‌ലോൾ പ്രശസ്തയാണ്.[17] 2014 ഡിസംബർ 1 ന്, രാജ്യത്ത് സ്ത്രീ ഡ്രൈവിംഗ് നിരോധനം ലംഘിച്ചതുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് യുഎഇയിൽ നിന്ന് സൗദി അറേബ്യയിലേക്ക് കാറിൽ അതിർത്തി കടക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം അറസ്റ്റുചെയ്യുകയും 73 ദിവസം തടങ്കലിൽ വയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. [25] 2015 ഡിസംബറിൽ സൗദി തദ്ദേശ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ മത്സരിക്കാൻ അൽ-ഹത്‌ലോൾ ശ്രമിച്ചു. സൗദി അറേബ്യയിൽ സ്ത്രീകളെ ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തിയ ആദ്യത്തെ വോട്ടവകാശമായിരുന്നെങ്കിലും പക്ഷേ നിരോധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. [26][27]

2016 സെപ്റ്റംബറിൽ, 14,000 മറ്റുള്ളവർക്കൊപ്പം, അൽ-ഹത്‌ലോൾ സൽമാൻ രാജാവിന് രക്ഷാകർതൃ സമ്പ്രദായം നിർത്തലാക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് ഒരു അപേക്ഷയിൽ ഒപ്പിട്ടു. 2018 മാർച്ചിൽ യുഎഇയിൽ നിന്ന് തട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയ ലൗജൈൻ അൽ-ഹത്‌ലോളിനെ സൗദി അറേബ്യയിലേക്ക് നാടുകടത്തി. അവിടെ കുറച്ച് ദിവസത്തേക്ക് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. തുടർന്ന് യാത്രാ വിലക്ക് ഏർപ്പെടുത്തി. [29] 2018 മെയ് 15 ന് തലേന്ന് എമാൻ അൽ-നഫ്‌ജാൻ, ഐഷ അൽ-മന, അസീസ അൽ-യൂസഫ്, മദെഹ അൽ-അജ്രോഷ്, ചില പുരുഷന്മാർ എന്നിവരോടൊപ്പം സൗദി അറേബ്യയിലെ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ അവകാശങ്ങൾക്കായുള്ള പ്രചാരണത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെട്ടതിന് [30][31]അൽ-ഹത്‌ലോളിനെ വീണ്ടും അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
