മിഗ്നോൺ ജി. എബെർഹാർട്ട്

മിഗ്നോൺ ജി. എബെർഹാർട്ട്, നിഗൂഢ നോവലുകളുടെ രചയിതാവായ അമേരിക്കൻ ഗ്രന്ഥകാരിയിരുന്നു. (ജനനം : ജൂലൈ 6, 1899, നെബ്രാസ്കയിലെ ലിങ്കണിൽ, മരണം: ഒക്ടോബർ 8, 1996, കണക്റ്റിക്കട്ടിലെ ഗ്രീൻവിച്ചിൽ) സമകാലികരായ എഴുത്തുകാരേക്കാൾ ഈ രംഗത്ത് വളരെ കൂടുതൽ കാലം (1920 മുതൽ 1980 വരെ) അവർ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു.

മിഗ്നോണെറ്റെ ഗുഡ് എന്ന പേരിൽ 1899 ജൂലൈ 6 ന് നെബ്രാസ്കയിലെ ലിങ്കണിൽ ജനിച്ചു. കൌമാരപ്രായത്തിൽ പലപ്പോഴും ചെറുകഥകളും മറ്റുമെഴുതിയിരുന്നു. 1917 മുതൽ 1920 വരെയുള്ള കാലത്ത് അവർ നെബ്രാസ്ക വെസ്‍ലയാൻ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ പഠനത്തിനു ചേർന്നുവെങ്കിലും ബിരുദ കോഴ്സ് പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയിരുന്നില്ല. 1923 ൽ അവർ അലാൻസൺ ക്ലൈഡ് എബർഹാർട്ടിനെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. വിരസത ഒഴിവാക്കുവാൻ ചെറുകഥകൾ എഴുതുന്നതു തുടർന്നിരുന്നു. ഏതാനും വർഷങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളിൽ നോവലുകളെഴുതാനും ആരംഭിച്ചു. 1929 ൽ മിഗ്നോൺ തൻറെ ആദ്യനോവലായ "The Patient in Room 18" പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു. രണ്ടാമത്തെ നോവലായ "While the Patient Slept" ന് 1931 ൽ $5000 സ്കോട്ട്ലാൻഡ് യാർഡ് പ്രൈസ് ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു.
