ഉൾക്കടലിലും തീരക്കടലുകളിലും ഒരേപോലെ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു പാമ്പാണ് മഞ്ഞക്കറുപ്പൻ (ഇം: Black and Yellow sea snake, yellow-bellied sea snake, yellowbelly sea snake, pelagic sea snake; ശാ. നാ: Hydrophis platurus). പേര് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് പോലെ മഞ്ഞയും കറുപ്പുമാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ശരീരം. തലയും ഉപരിഭാഗവും കറുപ്പും, ശരീരത്തിന്റെ അടിഭാഗമെല്ലാം മഞ്ഞയുമാണ്. തുഴപോലെ പരന്ന വാലിൽ വെള്ളനിറത്തിൽ കറുത്ത പുള്ളികളുമുണ്ട്.

നല്ല വിഷമുള്ള പാമ്പാണ്. ഒരു കടിയിൽ 1-4 മി.ഗ്രാം വിഷമുണ്ടാകും.
രൂപ വിവരണം
തിരുത്തുകമേൽഭാഗം കറുത്തതും അടിവശം നല്ല തിളങ്ങുന്ന മഞ്ഞനിറവുമാണ്. വാലിന്റെ അറ്റത്ത് മഞ്ഞയിൽ കറുത്തപുള്ളികളുണ്ട്.കാടൽപാമ്പുകളിൽ ഏറ്റവും ഭംഗിയുള്ളതാണ്.
ആവാസ വ്യവസ്ഥ
തിരുത്തുകപവിഴപുറ്റുകളിലും അഴിമുഖങ്ങളിലും അപൂർവമായി പുഴകളിലും കാണുന്നു.
