ബറോ, അലാസ്ക
നോർത്ത് സ്ലോപ്പ് ബറോയിലുള്ള ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പട്ടണമായ ബറോ (/ˈbæroʊ/), ഇനുപ്യാക് ഭാക്ഷയിൽ Ukpiaġvik (/ukpiaʁvik/) യു.എസ്. സംസ്ഥാനമായ അലാസ്കയിലാണ്. ഈ പട്ടണം ആർട്ടിക് സർക്കിളിലാണ് [3][4] സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. 2016 ഒക്ടോബറിൽ നടത്തിയ ജനഹിതപരിശോധനയിൽ പട്ടണം ബറോ എന്ന ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ പേരിൽ നിന്നും അതിൻറ പരമ്പരാഗത ഇനുപ്യാക് പേരായ Utqiaġvik.[5][6][7] എന്നു മാറ്റുന്നതിനായി വോട്ട് ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. ബറോ പട്ടണത്തിലെ ജനസംഖ്യ 2000 ലെ സെൻസസിൽ 4,683 പേരും 2010 ലെ സെൻസസിൽ 4,212 പേരുമായിരുന്നു. ജൂലൈ 2013 ൽ ജനസംഖ്യ 4,373 ആയി വർദ്ധിച്ചതായി കണക്കാക്കുന്നു.
