ഫ്രാങ്കോയിസ് ലോറൻജർ
ഫ്രാങ്കോയിസ് ലോറൻജർ (ജീവിതകാലം: ജൂൺ 18, 1913 - ഏപ്രിൽ 5, 1995) ഒരു കനേഡിയൻ നാടകകൃത്തും റേഡിയോ പ്രൊഡ്യൂസറും ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റുമായിരുന്നു. മോൺട്രിയലിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രാന്തപ്രദേശമായ സെന്റ്-ഹിലയറിലാണ് അവർ ജനിച്ചത്.[3]

ജീവചരിത്രം
തിരുത്തുകഅക്കാലത്ത് ക്യൂബെക്കിൽ പെൺകുട്ടികൾക്ക് പൊതുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സൗകര്യം ഇല്ലായിരുന്നതിനാൽ ലോറൻജറുടെ സ്കൂൾ ജീവിതം 15-ാം വയസ്സിൽ അവസാനിച്ചു.[1] 17-ആം വയസ്സിൽ അവൾ റിവ്യൂ പോപ്പുലെയ്ർ എന്ന മാസികയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി ചെറുകഥകൾ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു.[4] കവിയും നോവലിസ്റ്റും നാടകകൃത്തുമായിരുന്ന റോബർട്ട് ചോക്വെറ്റുമായി സഹകരിച്ച് 1938-ൽ അവർ റേഡിയോ നാടകങ്ങൾക്ക് സ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് എഴുതാൻ തുടങ്ങി. 1949-ൽ അവർ തന്റെ ആദ്യ നോവലായ Mathieu പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കുകയും ഇത് നിരൂപകരുടെയും പൊതുജനങ്ങളുടെയും പ്രശംസ പിടിച്ചുപറ്റി. സോസ് ലെ സൈൻ ഡു ലയൺ (1961-62) എന്ന പരമ്പര ഉൾപ്പെടെ 1950 കളിലും 1960 കളിലും അവർ നിരവധി ടെലിവിഷൻ നാടകങ്ങൾ രചിച്ചു.[5] 1965-ൽ ഫ്രാൻസിലും റഷ്യയിലും പര്യടനം നടത്തിയ Une maison … un jour എന്ന നാടകത്തിലൂടെ അവൾ നാടകരംഗത്തേയ്ക്ക് ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ചു.[6]
