പെൺകുട്ടിയും സുഹൃത്തുംകൂടി ദക്ഷിണ ഡെൽഹിയിൽ മുനീർക്കയിൽ നിന്നും ദ്വാരകയിലേക്ക് പോകാനായി കയറിയ വൈറ്റ്ലൈൻ ബസ്സിലാണ് ക്രൂരമായ ഈ സംഭവം നടന്നത്. [[ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡ്|ഉത്തരാഖണ്ഡിലെ]] [[ഡെറാഡൂൺ|ഡെറാഡൂണിൽ]] പാരാമെഡിക്കൽ കോഴ്സിനു പഠിക്കുന്ന പെൺകുട്ടി ഡെൽഹിയിൽ പരിശീലനത്തിനായി വന്നതായിരുന്നു. 2012 ഡിസംബർ 16 ന് ദക്ഷിണ ഡെൽഹിയിലുള്ള സാകേത് സെലക്ട് സിറ്റി വാക്ക് തിയറ്ററിൽ സിനിമകണ്ടതിനുശേഷം പെൺകുട്ടി വീട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ഒപ്പം പോയതായിരുന്നു സുഹൃത്ത്. ബസ്സിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആറുപേർ ചേർന്ന് പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ശല്യം ചെയ്യാൻ തുടങ്ങി. ഇതിനെ ചോദ്യചെയ്ത സുഹൃത്തിനെ അക്രമികൾ യാതൊരു ദയയുമില്ലാതെ ഇരുമ്പു ദണ്ഡുകൊണ്ട് അടിച്ചവശനാക്കി. അതിനുശേഷം ഇവർ പെൺകുട്ടിക്കു നേരെ തിരിയുകയും, ചെറുത്തുനിന്ന പെൺകുട്ടിയെ ഇരുമ്പു വടികൊണ്ട് തല്ലുകയും ഓടിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ബസ്സിൽവെച്ച് അവരെ അതിക്രൂരമായി ബലാത്സംഗം ചെയ്യുകയുമായിരുന്നു. പീഡനത്തിനിടയിൽ അക്രമികൾഅക്രമികളിലൊരാൾ അവരുടെ ശാരീരികാവയവങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഇരുമ്പുകമ്പി തള്ളിക്കയറ്റിയെന്ന് മാദ്ധ്യമങ്ങൾ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഏതാണ്ട് 11 മണിയോടെ ഇരുവരേയും അർദ്ധനഗ്നരായി റോഡിലേക്കു വലിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞ ശേഷം അക്രമികൾ കടന്നുകളഞ്ഞു. ഒരു വഴിപോക്കനാണ് ഇരുവരെയും കണ്ട് വിവരം പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ അറിയിച്ചത്. <ref name=sg>[http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-news/NewDelhi/Delhi-gangrape-victim-in-Singapore-hospital-is-stable-Govt/Article1-981319.aspx ഡെൽഹി സംഭവത്തിലെ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ സിംഗപ്പൂരിലേക്ക് വിദഗ്ദചികിത്സക്കായി കൊണ്ടുപോയി] ഹിന്ദുസ്ഥാൻ ടൈംസ് വാർത്ത - ശേഖരിച്ചത് 28 ഡിസംബർ 2012 </ref> .
