കേന്ദ്ര കഥാപാത്രമായ പൂച്ച മഴയുള്ള ഒരു ദിവസം വീട്ടിൽ 'അമ്മ തനിച്ചാക്കിപ്പോയ സാലിയുടെയും സഹോദരന്റെയും അടുത്ത് എത്തുന്നു. കുട്ടികളുടെ എതിർപ്പ് അവഗണിച്ചു പൂച്ച അവരെ രസിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഉള്ള പല പരിപാടികളും കാണിക്കുന്നു. ഈ പരിപാടികൾക്കിടയിൽ പൂച്ചയും പൂച്ചയുടെ കൂടെ വന്ന സഹായികളും (തിങ്ങ് വൺ , തിങ്ങ് ടൂ ) ചേർന്ന് വീട് മൊത്തം അലങ്കോലമാക്കി നശിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. എന്നാൽ 'അമ്മ വരുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് പൂച്ച ഒരു യന്ത്രം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് വീട് പൂർവസ്ഥിതിയിൽ ആക്കി വൃത്തിയാക്കുന്നു. 'അമ്മ വന്നു കയറുന്നതിനു തൊട്ടു മുൻപ് യാത്ര പറഞ്ഞു പൂച്ച അപ്രത്യക്ഷമാവുന്നു ഇതാണ് ആണ് കഥാസാരം.
