തെസ്സലോനിക്കിയിലെ പാലിയോക്രിസ്റ്റ്യൻ ബൈസന്റൈൻ ചരിത്ര സ്മാരകങ്ങൾ
ബൈസന്റൈൻ കാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ പ്രധാന നഗരമായിരുന്നു ഗ്രീസിലെ മാസിഡോണിയയിലെ തെസ്സലോനിക്കി നഗരം. മദ്ധ്യകാലഘട്ടത്തിലെ ക്രിസ്റ്റ്യൻ ആധിപത്യത്തിലും വളരെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ പങ്കുവഹിച്ചു. ഇവിടെ അനേകം സുന്ദരമായ മന്ദിരങ്ങൾ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു. 1988-ൽ തെസ്സലോനിക്കിയിലെ പതിനഞ്ച് സ്മാരകങ്ങളെ യുനെസ്കോ ലോകപൈതൃക സ്ഥാനങ്ങളുടെ പട്ടികയിൽ പെടുത്തി[2] [3]
