താലിബാൻ ആക്രമണം 2021 അഥവാ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാന്റെ പതനം ഇപ്പോൾ നടന്നു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന പട്ടാള ആക്രമണമാണ്. താലിബാനും അൽ കൈദ അടക്കമുള്ള സഖ്യ ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളും അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാനും അതിന്റെ സഖ്യകക്ഷികൾക്കുമെതിരെ നടത്തുന്ന ആക്രമണമാണ് ഇത്[3] അമേരിക്കൻ സേനയുടെ പിന്മാറ്റത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് [29] മേയ് 1 2021 നാണ് ഇത് ആരംഭിച്ചത്. ആദ്യത്തെ മൂന്ന് മാസങ്ങളിൽ താലിബാൻ സേന കാര്യമായ മുന്നേറ്റങ്ങൾ അഫ്ഗാൻ പ്രദേശത്ത് നടത്തി. അധീനത്തിലുള്ള ജില്ലകളുടെ എണ്ണം 73 ൽ നിന്ന് 223 ആക്കാൻ അവർക്കായി.[32] 6 ആഗസ്റ്റ് മുതൽ തുടങ്ങിയ ആക്രമണങ്ങളിൽ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്ഥാന്റെ 34 പ്രവിശ്യാ തലസ്താനങ്ങൾ കീഴടക്കി.
