ഒന്നാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ റോയൽ സാക്സൺ ആർമിയിലും രണ്ടാം ലോകമഹായുദ്ധത്തിൽ ജർമൻ കരസേനയിലെ ഒരു ജനറൽ ആയും പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ഒരു പട്ടാള ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനായിരുന്നു ഡീട്രിക് വൺ കോൾടി‌റ്റ്സ് (Dietrich Hugo Hermann von Choltitz) (ജർമ്മൻ ഉച്ചാരണം: [ˈdiːtʁɪç fɔn ˈçɔltɪts]; 9 നവംബർ 1894 – 4 നവംബർ1966). നാസികൾ കയ്യടക്കിവച്ച ഫ്രാൻസിൽ പാരീസിലെ അവസാന കമാണ്ടർ ആയിട്ടിരുന്ന കാലത്ത് 1944-ൽ അവിടെ നിന്നും പിൻമാറുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് പാരീസിനെ തകർത്ത് തരിപ്പണമാക്കാനുള്ള ഹിറ്റ്‌ലറുടെ ആജ്ഞ ധിക്കരിച്ച് കീഴടങ്ങാനുള്ള അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ തീരുമാനത്താൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനാണ് ഡീട്രിക്.[1][2] പാരീസിന്റെ രക്ഷകൻ ആയിട്ടാണ് അദ്ദേഹം വാഴ്‌ത്തപ്പെടുന്നത്.
