ഡാർവിൻസ് ഫോക്സ്
ശുനക വർഗത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ഗുരുതരമായ വംശനാശ ഭീഷണി നേരിടുന്ന ഒരു ചെറു ജീവിയാണ് ഡാർവിൻസ് ഫോക്സ്(Darvin's Fox). ഇത് ഡാർവിൻസ് സോറോ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ലൈകാലോപെക്സ് ( Lycalopex) ജനുസ്സിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഇതിന്റെ ശാസ്ത്രനാമം Lycalopex fulvipes എന്നാണ്. ഇത് ചിലിയിലും സമീപത്തുള്ള ദ്വീപുകളിലും മാത്രമാണ് കണ്ടുവരുന്നത്.
