നോളന്റെ പതിവ് സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ ഹാൻസ് സിമ്മർ 2020-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഡ്യൂണിനായി പ്രതിജ്ഞാബദ്ധനായതിനാൽ ലുഡ്‌വിഗ് ഗൊറാൻസൺ സ്കോർ രചിക്കും. [2][4] നോലന്റെ ദീർഘകാല എഡിറ്റർ ലീ സ്മിത്തിന് പകരമായി ജെന്നിഫർ ലാം ചിത്രം എഡിറ്റുചെയ്യും.[5] പ്രീ-പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻ സമയത്ത് ടെനെറ്റ് മെറി ഗോ റൗണ്ട് എന്ന വർക്കിംഗ് ടൈറ്റിലിനു കീഴിലായിരുന്നു ഈ ചിത്രം. [6]

ജോൺ ഡേവിഡ് വാഷിംഗ്ടൺ, റോബർട്ട് പാറ്റിൻസൺ, എലിസബത്ത് ഡെബിക്കി എന്നിവർ 2019 മാർച്ചിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. പ്രധാന ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫി 2019 മെയ് മാസത്തിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചു. ചിത്രീകരണം ഡെൻമാർക്ക്, എസ്റ്റോണിയ, ഇന്ത്യ, ഇറ്റലി, നോർവേ, യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിംഗ്ഡം, യുണൈറ്റഡ് സ്റ്റേറ്റ്സ് എന്നീ ഏഴ് രാജ്യങ്ങളിൽ നടക്കും [13][14]. ജൂൺ, ജൂലൈ മാസങ്ങളിൽ എസ്റ്റോണിയയിൽ ചിത്രീകരണം നടന്നു, ലിന്നഹാൽ, പെർനു ഹൈവേ, അടുത്തുള്ള തെരുവുകൾ എന്നിവ അടച്ചിടാൻ ഇത് സഹായിച്ചു. [24][25] ആ മാസം അവസാനം മുംബൈയിൽ അഞ്ച് ദിവസത്തെ ഷൂട്ടിംഗ് നടന്നു, [26] ലൊക്കേഷൻ സ്കൗട്ടിംഗിനായി നോലൻ ഫെബ്രുവരി, ഏപ്രിൽ മാസങ്ങളിൽ യാത്ര ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. [27] ബ്രീച്ച് കാൻഡി ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ, കഫെ മോണ്ടെഗർ, കൊളാബ കോസ്‌വേ, കൊളാബ മാർക്കറ്റ്, ഗേറ്റ്‌വേ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ, ഗ്രാന്റ് റോഡ്, റോയൽ ബോംബെ യാച്ച് ക്ലബ്, താജ്മഹൽ പാലസ് ഹോട്ടൽ എന്നിവയിൽ അദ്ദേഹം തീരുമാനിച്ചു. [28][29][30] [31]ഹോട്ടലിനടുത്ത് "ചന്ദ്" എന്ന പേരിൽ ഒരു റെസ്റ്റോറന്റ് സെറ്റ് നിർമ്മിച്ചു, [32] പക്ഷേ ഒരിക്കലും ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല, ഇത് ഒരു ബദലായി മാത്രം.
