ചെറുപഞ്ചനേത്രി

കേരളത്തിൽ അത്യപൂർവമായി കാണുന്ന രോമപാദ ചിത്രശലഭ കുടുംബത്തിലെ സാറ്റിറിനെ (Satyrinae) ഉപകുടുംബത്തിൽപ്പെട്ട ഒരു ചിത്രശലഭമാണ് ചെറുപഞ്ചനേത്രി.[1][2][3] കേരളം, തമിഴ്‌നാട് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലാണ് ഇതിനെ കണ്ടത്തിയിട്ടുള്ളത്.[4][5] ചില വിദഗ്ദ്ധർ ഇതിനെ Ypthima philomela (Baby Fivering) എന്ന ചിത്രശലഭത്തിന്റെ ഉപവർഗമായി കണക്കാക്കുന്നു.[6][7][8]
